Tata Motors' yet another invention is Tata Indica Vista Electric that was showcased today at the Delhi Auto Expo at Pragati Maidan. The eco friendly car comes with a PERM Magnet Motor, 55 KW of power,160 Nm torque. The all new Tata Indica Vista electric is a 1 speed FWD and touches a top speed of 128 kmph.It can go from 0 to 30 kmph in just 4.5 seconds, from 0 to 60 kmph in a matter of 90 seconds and can run upto 160 km per charge with the battery capacity of 26.6 kwh.The new Tata Indica Vista Electric with a seating capacity of 4 passengers is a five door model that comes with dual front airbags.
With the successful launch of Tata Nano, the world's cheapest car two years, Tata has kept it focus on energy saving, fuel efficient and user friendly car and Tata Indica Vista Electric sure looks the part.
Tata group Chairman Ratan Tata said in reminiscence,that they have developed from a truck manufacturer twenty years ago to passenger cars producers,showcasing their first passenger car Tata Indica at the very same place.
The company also unveiled Aria which is a combination of Multi Utility Vehicle (MUV) and Sports Utility Vehicle(SUV). Though the comapany named it as a car for Indians by the Indians.The launch date however has not been mentioned. The other models that were showcased were Tata Prima and Tata Venture. Jaguar XJ that is yet another model of the company was launched today.
