The Automobile fans across the world are awaiting the Indian Auto Expo 2012 with increased anticipation which is soon approaching by each passing day from January 5th 2012. As many as 18 car manufacturers from every nook and corner of the world are expected to take part in the one and only Auto Exhibition in the world where the focus is motivated by the variety of passenger cars, new concepts from different manufacturers, commercial vehicles and last but not the least the evergreen field, the motorbike segment launches and display.

Though, the Auto Expo 2012 commences officially on 5th January, certain car manufacturers like Bajaj Auto, Fiat India and Ford Motors are heading for an early launch on the eve of the Auto Expo to have an undivided and unclaimed attention for their new vehicle launches. The renowned two-wheeler manufacturer, Bajaj Auto after its stint at the 2008 Auto Expo with the Ultra-Low Cost Car for the first time is gearing up for the much awaited foray at the same venue Pragati Maidan in New Delhi on January 3rd with the ULLC, Bajaj RE60. Fiat India has also taken this occasion to launch its all new Fiat Linea sedan and Fiat Palio hatchback on the same day, the January 3rd. The 4th January is the day, Ford Motors has chosen to announce their foray into compact SUV segment with the Ford EcoSport compact SUV just one day ahead of the Auto Expo to begin. Although there is going to be no single day without being jam-packed with events, here is a brief review on some important launches the car manufacturer’s have scheduled before-hand.

The unveiling ceremony of Ford EcoSport apart from showcasing their new versions of the existing car models from the Ford’s product portfolio amongst the other important events for the Ford India like the bloggers meet will take place on the first day of the Auto Expo, the January 5th. This day is also going to be of prime importance for Peugeot India as well, who has reserved it for re-entry into the Indian car market after a decade long absence with the Peugeot 508 sedan and Peugeot 208 hatchback for a display in front of the massive crowd. January 5th, the very first day of the Auto Expo is basically marked as the Good Will day among the calendar of events to enable entry for Physically handicapped people which will be an full day event open from 10:00 AM in the morning through the afterhours of 7:00 PM. The 6th January and the second day of the Indian Auto Expo could be mentioned as the actual commencement of the automobile exhibition after the Media and Good Will day on 5th January which will again be an all-day event with the restricted entry where we can find the cream of the global Auto industry to witness the special launches for the season. Renault India has already announced to unveil the Renault Duster SUV and launch the Renault Pulse hatchback on this day. Though irrelevant to the Auto Expo, Fiat India has thoroughly implied to link their presence with the Auto Expo by its intentions to launch the first Fiat Café in India on 6th January in Tolstoy Marg at New Delhi. January 7th is the day, the Auto enthusiasst will be most fervently waiting for, counting the days on their fingers when the organisers will open the gates for general public participation in the event. Business apart, it is the public appraisal the car manufacturers would be looking forward to. This is not just the most awaited day for the car lovers across the globe, but also for the car manufacturers. The excitement among the crowd will last for the most eventful five days of the Auto Expo which will finally conclude on January 11th of 2012.
