Now King of Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV) has been launched in Indian market at a whooping price between Rs 81 lakh to RS 83.64 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, the eight generation model, is equipped with a 4500cc V8 engine that churns a maximum power of 285bhp and maximum torque of 650NM from 1600 to 2800rpm. This is claimed the most powerful mill in the class. The completely built unit from Japan,Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has a four wheel drive with 6-speed auto transmission. The mileage figure claimed is 10.2 kmpl. Toyota Land Cruiser Prado performance is increased by the Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System. The system promises a long suspension stroke and on-road stability. Hydraulic pressure system used in the SUV, linked to the front and rear stabilizers, suppresses rolling of the body even at high speeds.Tata is also all set to launch its Tata Indigo Vista in India.
