World Cup 2011 starts today

Finally the big day day is here for which we all have been waiting for, the world cup starts today where the two teams from the sub-continent will be clashing with each other. The world cup opening ceremony was held at Bangabandhu National Stadium where the Bangladesh prime minister Sheikh Hasina declared the 10th edition of the tournament open.

The most awaited event of the year will start today where the players of teams India will battle against team Bangladesh today in Bangladesh. There is a lot of anticipation across the world regarding the world cup. Indian team is hoping to bring the trophy home, team India has been performing well for quite some time and they wish to present this trophy to the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar as this would be the last world cup of his career. Team India is all geared up and hopefully will live up to the expectations of the people of India.

In the last world cup, team India lost the match against Bangladesh, this time let's hope that team India will be able to take its revenge and kick start the tournament on a winning note.
