2015 Ford Figo Compact Sedan Sports Piano Black Interiors & Several Segment-First Features

The next generation 2015 Ford Figo (KA known as globally)  has been launched in the Brazil. While India still awaits the hatch early next year, as this will be the first car to be produced at Ford India's new upcoming plant in Sanand, Gujarat. Furthermore, the Figo compact sedan concept was world premiered at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show, very well stating the importance of this product for the American manufacturer's Indian counterpart. The Figo/KA sedan version is known as KA+ in Brazil, lets see what Ford India has has in for the compact sedan's nameplate! 

In Brazil the company is doing extensive promotion on TV in a reality show for the new hatch-sedan duo. Few pictures by the Ford Brazil reveals that the upcoming compact sedan features  recent Fiesta facelift inspired Piano Black finish central console, while it shares the dash with the recently launched next-generation Figo/KA; which indeed in inspired from the Fiesta and EcoSport. Furthermore, the Figo compact sedan will compete with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Tata Bolt and Honda Amaze, as of now! 

What makes the Figo compact sedan strong player in the segment

• The vehicle is certainly a looker as most of the competitors in the segment looks out of the abruptly stretched or bland. 
• The Figo compact sedan features company's Kinetic 2.0 design philosophy, moreover contrary to the hatch, the compact sedan features chrome slated grille looks premium. 
•  On the feature list, the car is equipped with company's voice controlled SYNC connectivity feature with Applink and Emergency Assistance in Brazil. As Ford has launched these services in India already we will certainly be getting these on the upcoming hatch and sedan duo.   
• The sedan is likely to share the diesel engine with the Fiesta, the 1.5L TDCI producing 89bhp and 205Nm of torque. On the petrol front, it might get the new 1.0L TiVCT 85bhp naturally aspirated petrol. 
• Speaking about the ride and handling, it will certainly be excellent similar to Ford vehicles we are getting in our country.
