Ariel Atom to launch its range of sportscar in India

Recently, the well known British sports car maker, Ariel made an official announcement that it will soon arrive with its Atom models in the Indian car market. A couple of days ago, another British sports car manufacturer, Caterham announced its entry into the Indian car market.

Looks like Indian car market will sizzle with lots of sports cars. The InterGlobe Established Private Limited is aspiring to benefit from the racing enthusiasm created by the recent Formula F1 race event. The company made an alliance with Ariel Motor Company to bring in the new Ariel Atom 3 in India. As per the CEO and president of InterGlobe, Mr. Nigel Harwood, the new Ariel Atom is absolutely perfect for any sports car fanatic who is gazing for more serious, unbeatable and fun performance, both on track and on the road.

The new Ariel Atom will not have doors, roof or body panels, indeed it’s just an open chassis accompanied with 2 seats and a power train attached to it. However, in the end it proffers an unhinged and pure driving experience, similar to an open wheel race car. The new Ariel Atom has a 2.0 litre of Honda engine under the hood, which will churn out either 245 BHP or super-charged 300 BHP of power.

The car touches the speed from 0 to 100 km per hour in merely 2.5 seconds, which makes it the fastest accelerating cars across the world. The price of Ariel atom is still in anonymity, but rumors suggest that the car will be priced near Rs. 50 lakh.
