Automakers all set to rock at the Shanghai auto show

China’s biggest Auto show, Shanghai will this year going to unveil some real flashiest SUVs, luxury sedans and electric concept cars. The Auto industry after being severely hit by tsunami in Japan is going to get back into colors at this big auto show.Shanghai show is gaining great importance in the auto industry and now is taken as one of the crucial shows in world. China was able top overtake United States in the year 2009 as the biggest auto market as it was able to maintain a steady growth even in the global crisis.

In the big show some of the great works from Toyota, General Motors, BMW and other auto makers will be displayed. Among the model names which will be coming up for world premier are Chevy Malibu, a BMW luxury coupe along with other models. With these big displays, Shanghai has managed a position next to the shows of Detroit, Tokyo and Frankfurt. The show will avail a global platform for many models.

Some of the big names like Peugeot; the French car maker will display its Peugeot SXC, which was conceived at its Shanghai design studio. The car model depicts some stunning concepts like a conventional gasoline engine, sleek narrow headlights and rear-hinged doors. In the year 2011 the 14th Shanghai auto show is conducted in China which will start on Tuesday to reporters and to the public on Thursday.
