Changan Ford Mazda JV to recall 7000 Mondeos in China

According to the recent developments in World Automobile Market, local dealers of Changan Ford Mazda in China are asked for the recall of 7,000 Mondeos cars. As per reports, US auto market which holds the second position in terms of revenue and sales is calling back its car share, the Chinese car market is also in the process of recalling the Ford Mondeo cars.

Furthermore, Chinese officials in General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said that Changan Ford Mazda has ordered a call back of 6,599 Mondeo sedans due to some technical issues. As per insider’s report, the recall is being done so as to comply with the Provisions of the Administration of Recall of Defective Auto Products, and cars which are being targeted are the Ford Mondeo manufactured between February 14 and April 16 this year.

According to the reports, the Ford is calling back cars due to the problems in the supplementary heating system which might affect the vehicle's air filtering process, which is going to worsen the condition of interior cables. Furthermore, Changan Ford Mazda has already announced the recall to all the Mondeo dealers in the country and Changan Ford Mazda JV is going to provide free maintenance and inspection to the affected cars.
