Chrysler 300 S to Feature in Batman; The Dark Knight Rises

Chrysler is soon to play a major role in one of the most anticipated movies of next month, The Dark Knight Rises from the Batman franchise. The 2012 Chrysler 300 S has gone to Hollywood. A new commercial was released on Tuesday featuring the 300 S showcased in an underground garage quite similar to Bruce Wayne’s (Batman) garage under Wayne manor. The commercial reveals the 300 S being worked on by a team of engineers who modify its interiors and exteriors which includes a jet engine and weapon systems.

A spokeswoman from Chrysler has confirmed that the 300 S is to be driven by a government official in the movie and the license plate number will read DK-300S. This is an attempt by Chrysler to sponsor more and more red carpet events in order to build up the company’s dwindling image. Apart from the commercial Chrysler is also initiating a competition for people to come up with their own versions of the commercial and win cash prizes and a trip to New York to view the first screening of The Dark Knight Rises.

Speaking about the ad, Mr Olivier Francois, Chief, Chrysler, said, "The TV spot was designed and shot to look and feel as if it could live inside Gotham City itself. As the spot unfolds, an elite team of mechanics and machinists transform the vehicle with a matte black exterior, stealth body panels, advanced weapon systems and a jet engine."
