Ford Ecosport launch closing in, Nissan's low cost car images leaked

This has been an interesting week, as Mercedes-Benz launched the G63 AMG in the week when “Good Day to Die Hard” was realised. The movie has used several Mercedes-Benz products and they have got the newer and faster G63 on the Indian roads.

Apart from the G63 AMG, the other good news is the fact that Ford is gearing up for the launch of its Ecosport. The compact SUV has been in talks for a long while and Ford should get it out in the market by April. Some dealers have unofficially began taking orders of the car and are promising delivery in May. We have also got some sketches of Nissan’s new lost cost brand Datsun’s sedan model.

Ford India Hints at EcoSport Launch Plans

Ford EcoSport Compact SUV is no doubt one of the most awaited vehicles of the year, and the excitement for the car is only increasing with the launch coming near.  Like CarDekho reported earlier that the EcoSport would launch sometime in April, Ford India has now given further hints on the same. Ford India has recently tweeted that they will make a ‘big announcement’ soon, and who can deny that they were talking about the EcoSport.

Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG Launched at Rs 1.46 Crore

Mercedes-Benz India has finally launched the much-anticipated G63 AMG at Rs. 1.46 crore (Ex-Showroom, Mumbai), which replaces the G55AMG sold in India. The new G-Wagen SUV that made its public debut at the 2012 Bejing Auto Show has kept the design similar to that of the earlier version; however, it gets some styling tweaks both inside and out.

New Ford Endeavour ALL-Terrain Edition Launched

Ford India gave a facelift to its flagship SUV, Endeavour in 2009, when it got the kinetic design with a new front grille, body decals and side metallic scoop along with the 3.0-litre engine and automatic transmission. World's Best and Worst Engine Makers- Honda and Toyota Top the Chart

British insurance company ‘Warranty Direct’ has recently released a list of the world’s most reliable and worst engine manufactures. The study has been done on the basis of how often insurance agencies will step in and cover the repair costs for engine damages, and the study ended up revealing some interesting facts. The report says that “German reliability is not as strong as many believe”, the company found Audi, BMW and Volkswagen to have some of the least reliable engines in their cars.

Duster Facelift Likely to be unveiled at Geneva Motor Show

Nano Car in Mega City

Tata Nano has covered a lot of roads since its entry in the Indian car market. Although it did not sell in the numbers that was expected of it, it did drive to some destinations, which was certainly not expected of it. It went on a round the country drive through the golden quadrilateral and it also managed to inspire an intrepid senior citizen who was well into his sixties to drive it on the world's highest motorable road i.e, Khardungla pass in Ladakh. But the fact remains that Tata Nano wasn't designed to venture into such extreme motoring adventures; it is off course a different matter that despite having been conceived with clear design mandate of an intra-city fuel efficient small car, TATA NANO proved that it is more than game for some extreme driving adventure as long as the adventure remains within the realms of logic and rationality.
