Ford India's Fourth Part Distribution Centre Inaugurated in Kolkata

The American manufacturer's Indian counterpart has opened a new part distribution center in Kolkata. Joined with the rest three part distribution centers covering almost entire nation – Delhi (North), Mumbai (west), Chennai (South) and now Kolkata (east). This ensure increased pan-India reach and considerable reduction in time of acquisition of spares. This Kolkata facility will definitely help the 28 eastern dealerships in providing timely service to the customers.

An important part of this endeavour is to keep improving our world-class after-sales offerings as we increase our footprint in India. With this new parts distribution centre, we will be closer to the dealer network improving parts availability, reducing lead time and enhancing overall customer experience,”

The 3,200 sq. m area facility was inaugurated by Nigel Harris, President, Ford India along with Vinay Piparsania, Executive Director, Marketing, Sales & Service, Ford India Michele DeTombeur, Director, Parts Supply & Logistics, Ford Asia Pacific and PK Umashankar, Vice President, Ford Customer Service Operations, Ford India.
