    Ford investments of 500 million

    Failure of auto bailout package was noticed not only in India but also in US. Besides this failout of the investment Ford India is expecting that their investment plans are going to come on track with-in a short period. Ford India was keen to launch their investment plans in the nation of nearly 500 million dollars for that they could have better investment and benifits all through-out. Instead of decreasing investment plans on and off the track Ford has no plans to decrease the fund investments of the company. For the projects to go well and good US senate has also proposed a rescue plans for the big companies like GM, Chrysler and the Ford.

    major component of the investment plan is a new, state-of-the-art and fully-integrated engine manufacturing facility to be constructed adjacent to the current vehicle plant. This new flexible facility will be capable of manufacturing both petrol engines and Ford's next generation diesel engine. Initial annual production capacity is planned for 250,000 units, with the first engines coming off line by 2010. Production at the diesel assembly plant that's currently being set up will be integrated into the new facility.

        Ford Motor Company announced plans to invest US$500 million to expand its India operations, reaffirming its commitment to developing and implementing an aggressive growth strategy in the country.
        so i think its defenitely good for indian car market.thats y Ford will launched more cars in india.
