Ford to launch new small car by year 2010

US based one of the largest car manufacturers Ford Motors Planning to launch a new small car in India by year 2010. Ford Motors is parent company of Ford India which is operating in India. According to Ford India the company will continue with its plans of investing an amount of $500 million and the small car of Ford brand will be launched in Indian market by the year 2010.

The Ford Motors is suffered a net loss of $14.7 billion in the year 2008 and company is one of the big three companies of Detroit, US which were opted for Government bail-out after suffering very badly from Global slowdown. According to Ford India the company's plans in India are on track. In the year 2008 company announced its plans of investing $500 million to double its production capacity to 2 lakh.
