Honda Cars India which has been facing a tough time in India due to the unavailability of diesel cars in its line up, is now trying all its cards to lure as many buyers as it can during the festive season. Yes, they lack the diesel engine, but who can deny that they have some of the finest cars available today. Honda Brio is no doubt one of the best hatchbacks that we have in our country, and that has been the reason why it is Honda's top selling car today. So to do even better, the company is launching the automatic version of the car on 18th October
The Brio AT will house the similar 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine and will come with five-speed automatic transmission gearbox. Honda brought the CVT version of the similar vehicle sometime back in the Thailand which has helped the company escalate their performance over there, so can they repeat the same in India as well, will be an interesting watch. And like they brought the AT version of Honda City S line in India last month, this time as well, only the mid variants of the Brio might get the automatic transmission, otherwise the top-end AT version would cost so high to customers.
Honda City CNG is the other vehicle that they are launching by the end of October, while the diesel cars will start coming in from 2013. Stay tuned for more updates on the same. Cheers!
