Honda Brio launch date altered to September 28th

According to the latest reports, the most anticipated small car from Honda Motors is going to be launched on September 28th against the earlier set date of 27th of this month.  New Honda Brio is expected to be launched  in petrol variant as of now.  The Honda Brio price is likely to be placed most competitively, though no information regarding the price of the car has been revealed.

With the soaring demand for the diesel cars in India, Honda India needs to set the price for the hatchback strategically to keep up with the competition.  The expected Honda Brio price is under Rs 5 lakhs. As for the Honda Brio specifications, the compact car will have a 1.2 L i-VTEC Honda Jazz’s petrol engine, however, with a variation in the peak power output with 88 bhp in case of Honda Brio. The peak torque output is 109 Nm @ 4,600 rpm. 

Honda Brio is likely to be lighter and more fuel efficient as compared to Honda Jazz, with an ARAI certified fuel economy of 18.4 kmpl. The Honda Brio review suggests that the car is expected to be introduced in India with many additional safety and security measures such as airbags, ABS and EBD. The new Honda Brio will be available in three variants Honda Brio E, Honda Brio S and Honda Brio V.
