Honda Brio launched in Mumbai at Rs 4.19 lakh

Honda India finally launched its new small car, Honda Brio in Mumbai. Honda Brio is the first car by Honda India, which has been developed and designed by the Indian engineers. The new Honda Brio has been launched in the petrol version, which is a thing that Honda needs to worry about. When queried about the diesel version of Honda Brio to Honda India, it gave a dull answer as it is very impractical to expect the diesel version of Honda Brio before 2013. However, Honda has already begun working on the diesel engine in Japan and it is expected that its first ever compact car to come with diesel engine could be the next gen Honda Jazz.

Honda Brio  a decent mileage of 18.4 km per litre, which is extremely frugal. The new Honda Brio has been placed just between Maruti Swift and Hyundai i10. The Honda Brio price has also been kept affordable and competitive. Honda Brio price starts from Rs. 4.19 lakh and goes up to Rs. 5.42 lakh( ex showroom Mumbai) , depending on the model one chooses.

In New Delhi, Honda Brio price starts at Rs. 3.95 only. This new compact car is being developed at the greater Noida facility and Honda India has managed to make this car 80% localized. The 1.2 litre of i-VTEC petrol engine has been installed in the new Honda Brio, which produces 88 PS of power accompanied with 109 Nm of torque. Furthermore, consumers will be given 6 different color options in the top end version of Honda Brio.
