Hyundai launches the XCent

Hyundai has launched the XCent, its new compact sedan that will compete with the Honda Amaze and the Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire. Hyundai is the second largest player in the Indian car market and this product will further help them to boost their current sales. Honda has already increased the capacity of the Amaze, since the inaugural of its new Rajasthan plant.

Hyundai launches the XCent at Rs 4.66 lakhs
Hyundai has launched the new XCent, which is the Grand i10 sedan. It shares the same platform with the Grand i10 and comes loaded with several features. The 1.2-litre petrol engine is capable to belt out max power of 82bhp and 114Nm of torque. While, the oil burner gets a 1.1-litre diesel engine producing max power output of 70bhp and160Nm of top torque. Both the engines are clubbed to a five-speed manual transmission, while the petrol variant also gets the option of four-speed automatic gearbox. Read more
