Hyundai India seems to be gripped with another wave of tension with the labour issues cropping up yet again. The recognised United Union of Hyundai Employees (UUHE) president K. Dilli Babu is the one asking to settle down for talks and a middle way solution helping both the parites involved, the Hyundai management and the workes. A sudden rise is labour unrest began when the Union leader of a certain company by the name Ceramics India Ltd situated in Yanam collapsed at a police station in Puducherry in Andhra Pradesh.

However, the Hyundai India had been facing with multiple strikes in the past years with the Hyundai Employees asking to recognize the Hyundai Motors Employee union under the political influence of the larger trade Union body, the Center for IndianTrade Union (CITU). Despite the inherent labour troubles, the car manufacturer had garnered impressive growth during the fiscal 2011 - 2012 making up the low car sales in India with improved exports.
