Jaguar brings its first ever crossover concept vehicle- the C-X17 at the ongoing Indian Auto Expo'14. The same crossover last made its debut at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The luxury crossover illustrates Jaguar's all-new advanced aluminium monocoque architecture, codenamed iQ (AI), and based on this the future Jaguars will be developed. This new design philosophy provide base to the entire the range of models in Jaguar's lineup.
It imbibes several characters into the vehicle like, the architecture is with high-strength, extremely stiff, lightweight and implements innovative efficiency technologies in the vehicles. It even enables high-volume production alongside the creative design freedom and top notch interior packaging, without letting affect the unique character, performance and luxury statement that Jaguar creates through its vehicles. Moreover, with this the company can grow over its product portfolio and target larger piece of premium market.
The Jaguar C-X17 gets an extended bonnet, and is a perfect mix of style and bounds all potential to deliver unbeatable performance. The front is bold enough and aggressive to create an impressive impact in the minds of the on-lookers at a single glance. The sporty stance is well defined with 23-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps, J-shaped running lights and frosted-glass foglights. It is painted in a lustrous Caesium Blue finish, which is in a way eye-catchy.
At its heart, the new crossover high-output both petrol and diesel engines, the V6 petrol engine serves best-in-class power output. Moreover, with the combination of aluminium monocoque, the vehicle is able to return better fuel efficiency. In terms of performance, the crossover reaches the top speed of 300kmph and emissions below 100g of CO2 per kilometre.
Interiors comprise of bucket seats, two-additional rear-mounted leisure seats, armrest, jet saddle Connolly leather and Orchid Connolly leather over instrument panel and many others.
