Jaguar Land Rover inaugurates it's first dealership in Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Tata owned Jaguar Land Rover inaugurates a new dealership 'Satyam Balajee Automotives (P) Ltd' in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. With opening of this new showroom, the British carmaker has marked its entry into Central Indian state and has expanded its footprint to 20 dealerships in 18 major cities across India. Located at NH-6, Ring Road 1 in Raipur, the dealership will offer sales as well as after-sales services to its customers.

Mr. Rohit Suri, Vice President, Jaguar Land Rover, India said, “I am delighted to be opening our first showroom in the State of Chhattisgarh. The 3S facility in Raipur is the largest among the premium car dealerships in the state and reflects our commitment to set a new benchmark for customer experience.”

Spread over a total area of 50,000 sq ft., Satyam Balajee Automotives has room to display upto eight cars. Despite getting off to a late start, Jaguar Land Rover expects to make its mark in Raipur with this all-new showroom. The three German luxury car makers, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz already have already set up their shops in the capital city.

The carmaker currently sells four models in the country, the XF, XJ, XKR and the most recent F-Type, of which the XF and XJ luxury sedans are locally assembled while the other two sportscars are imported as Complete Built Units (CBU). And the Land Rover line-up sold in India includes Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, Discovery 4 and Freelander 2.

Recently, Jaguar started the production of XJ sedan in their Indian facility. This locally assembled variant is now available with a 3.0l diesel engine and is priced INR 92.10 lakhs, making it the most affordable luxury saloon in its arena. Powered by a 3.0 litre V6 turbo charged diesel motor, which churns out 275PS of max. power and 600Nm of peak torque. Maximum speed of the luxury saloon is electronically limited to 250kmph and sprints 0-100 kmph in a claimed 6.4secs. Along with these heavy power specs., the XJ promises to deliver 12.9kmpl of fuel efficiency, which is not-at-all bad for a car like this. The car comes with various upgradessuch as rear seat comfort pack with three massage seat functions, new headrests, electric rear side window blinds, LED reading lights, 25.9 cm (10.2) rear screens (Rear Seat Entertainment System) and a new rear business table
