Mahindra Reva celebrated World Environment Day with FM 104 Fever

In celebrations of the World Environment Day on June 5th, 2011, Mahindra Reva in association with Fever 104 FM got together to spread awareness about the importance of “going green” on June 4th. Mahindra Reva dedicated 4 Reva cars for this cause. The cars toured around the city of Bengaluru and stopped at various hotspots like Lalbagh, Jayanagar BDA Complex and Shopper’s Stop – Bannerghatta Road. One car amongst the four was declared as the “Pledge Car”.

People at each hot spot were encouraged to write their “Pledge” on the Pledge Car on how they would contribute to the environment to make it greener and healthier. The whole event culminated at the last hotspot, in front of Garuda Mall at 4.00 p.m. where Mr. R. Chandramouli, Chief of Operations – Mahindra Reva and RJ Sindhu from Fever 104 FM joined the 4 Reva cars including the Pledge Car. RJ Sindhu interacted with the crowd in front of Garuda Mall urging them to pledge on the Reva car. The whole event was aired live on Fever 104 FM.

Mr. R. Chandramouli – Chief of Operations, Mahindra Reva, said “We are happy to partner with Fever 104 FM on World Environment Day to spread the message of “Going Green”. We believe that every individual in India should understand the importance of a clean, green pollution free environment and through this initiative with Fever 104 FM we are trying to create awareness amongst the people of Bangalore.”
