This car would come with two battery options namely Lithium-Ion battery and Lead Acid battery. The choice will be of the customers to choose among these two. As for sure the Lithium Ion battery would be costlier than the other one but would have a longer life span. The Li-ion battery would provide us with a mileage of 100 kms for every charge, which is going to be more than the Lead Acid one.
The design of the car is similar to the the Maruti Estillo and is much taller than the other cars in this segment. The Mahindra Reva EV NXR model might have a steel frame with ABS body and dent-resistant material.
Talking about the price of this car, R. Chandramouli said that this car will be priced higher than the existing model but will be competitive. The company had already sold out 600 cars in the year 2010 and is expecting to sell 100 more this year.
To attract the customers the company had provided ultimate financial schemes through Mahindra Finance.
