Nano to be made from Singur: Sen

West Bengal government hasn’t lost hope for Tata’s Nano. Efforts are on to bring back the company to Singur. Previously it was forced to quit West Bengal due to farmers protest. Now Sabyasachi Sen, a senior bureaucrat in West Bengal, said in an interview, ``Sooner rather than later, the  Nano will be produced from there.'' On the other hand, Tata Motors spokesman Debasis Ray is very unclear about the company’s plans. He said, “We have our sheds there. We have the land there which is leased to us. We do not have any more information to share at this point. We will discuss whatever plans we have with the West Bengal government.'' Sen said, “The farmers' protest is now ``tapering off and through a process of dialogue we hope that the little remnants of opposition will be removed.''
