Nissan to launch new X-Trail SUV in December - Japan

Nissan, the Japanese car maker will launch the all-new X-Trail SUV in Japan by the end of this year. The company had unveiled the seven-seater SUV at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The new X-Trail gets a completely new looks, features and now has improved riding capabilities. It is being offered both with the front wheel drive and four wheel drive options.
Like previous generation models, the new X-Trail also gets hill start assist, advance hill descent control and Yaw moment control. To offer improved riding comfort and drivability, the SUV comes equipped with several advanced technological features such as first active ride control and active engine brake, and cornering stability assist.
The new Nissan X Trail supports enhanced safety and security while driving in various situation with the inclusion of the emergency brake, emergency assist for pedal misapplication, lane departure warning and do-not-enter sign detection systems. BSW (Blind Spot Warning) and Driver Attention Alert are also offered as optional features. The vehicle sports around view monitor with parking assist, which helps the driver to park it in a garage or parallel parking. The advanced drive-assist display also provides a variety of vehicle information to support driving.
The new features offered to the 2014 X-Trail are structured headlamps with LED daytime running lights and the characteristic D-pillar shape. Inside the cabin, it gets geometric metallic and piano black finishes with lots of chrome and complete leather upholstery. It also features the NissanConnect in-car navigation, information and entertainment system. This system offers a range of apps including music, social networking, 7-inch colour touch screen and others.
