Renault drives in Koleos in Andhra Pradesh

The French auto maker, Renault, which has recently made a comeback in India, launched Renault Koleos SUV in Andhra Pradesh. Earlier this year Renault India launched its sole venture, Renault Fluence sedan that was very successful in the country. Now with the launch of Renault Koleos SUV, Renault aims to become amongst the top car makers in the country. The new Renault Koleos luxury SUV was launched in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday. Furthermore, Renault India is planning to launch 2 brand new models along with a small car in the Indian car market by the year of 2012.

According to the vice president of sales and marketing of Renault India, Mr. Len Curran, Renault India is in plans to launch around 5 cars in the Indian car market by the end of 2012. These 5 models will comprise of 3 new cars accompanied with a small car.

Renault entered India in collaboration with Mahindra and Mahindra, but both the companies split in April 2010 and finally Renault India solely made its debut in the Indian car market with its luxurious sedan, Renault Fluence.
