Skoda Reveals 2015 Fabia's Interiors; Sports MirrorLink tech!

From the last few days, Skoda has been teasing the new Fabia online before unveiling it entirely a couple of days ago. Today, the company revealed the interiors of the new hatchback, and yes it's a hefty makeover just like the exteriors which certainly looks more premium and classy. Also, the car has become more mature and wider & longer than before with a whooping boot space of 330 liters!

Dr Frank Welsch, ŠKODA Board Member for Technical Development, stated on the revealing of 2015 Fabia's interiors, “The new ŠKODA Fabia is a real champion in terms of practicality, offering a wide variety of opportunities for use – it is the ideal car for modern yet practical urban mobility and also possesses the perfect combination of functionality and emotionally-rich design.”

MirrorLink Technology

• The hatch features touch screen MirrorLink powered infotainment system.
• The system allows smartphone to link with the vehicle infotainment system allowing them to use certain apps on the screen just like you use them on your mobile.
• To name a few, navigation and music streaming will be a bliss using MirrorLink Technology.
• To connect the smartphone to car's infotainment system, plug-in your phone to the infotainment system using a USB cable and select the MirrorLink mode on the touch screen – and the MirrorLink certified apps will be displayed on the car's screen!

Moreover, 2015 Fabia also features SmartGate technology, with the help of this tech, you can get vehicle's essential data on you smartphone apps, like, fuel consumption, average speed, journey costs, etc for analysis and storage. The data is transmitted wirelessly through WiFi technology. Apart from this every thing is in tandem with Skoda territory – simple and elegant cabin, central console reminiscent of Octavia while it gets new steering wheel, larger dials; the dash also features a dual tone finish.
