Tata Nano platform will be used to make electric & hybrid cars

Tata Nano is clearly a boon for the automaker and the customers. After having so many goods to the company, the car's platform will be used to make electric and hybrid cars, Tata Group said highlighting the Innovation and Innovativeness of the company. The introduction of Tata Nano was compared to that of the Ford Model T, the car that completely revolutionized the automobile industry.
 Tata Nano is also expected to create a new distinct category in the auto industry - the People's Car.
 It may be recalled that before Tata Nano, Maruti 800 was the people's car at around Rs 2 lakh. Designed with the transportation needs of a family in mind, the Tata Nano is a full-fledged car with contemporary styling and spacious interiors conforming to standards of emissions, mileage, acceleration, safety and performance.
