The home grown automotive giant Tata Motors must be elated over the abrupt surge in the sales of its wonder car Tata Nano. The petite car was being questioned for its security features, specially when a Tata Nano caught fire in Ahmadabad recently. But surpassing that bad phase, Tata Nano has shun away its critics and come out as a winner. Tata Nano which at one point had witnessed sales of meagre 500 cars has touched the mark of 8707 units in the month of March. World's most inexpensive car has been in news ever since its inception. Last year at the same time the wonder car posted a growth of 85 per cent. And this year in the same time, Tata Motors managed to sell a decent number of Tata Nano units. Altogether Tata Motors have sold 27,678 cars under its brand name in the month of March.
