Toyota 'Q' word programme ends on a good note

Toyota 'Q' word programme which was started in Mumbai this week has received a very good response from Toyota's Indian admirers. The Toyota 'Q' World programme was basically a two day event in which company showcased all of its Indian portfolio vehicles . Besides its existing cars in India Toyota also showcased its upcoming cars in India including Toyota Etios concept and hybrid model Toyota Prius. Automobile enthusiast as well as company's potential buyers visited the event in a good number.

Starting from Mumbai, Toyota intends to take this 'Q' Word programme all across India, so that it can promote its Quality Philosophy to every single buyer in the country. The event was mainly focused on Toyota's upcoming cars in India including Toyota Etios and company's recently launched cars in India including Toyota Prado Diesel, Toyota Fortuner and Toyota Land Cruiser.

To make sure the easy availability of Toyota Etios in India company is planning to expand its sales and service network to about 150 dealerships by the end of 2010. At present Toyota has a strong dealer network of 15 dealerships in the state of Maharashtra and company will add 13 more dealerships in the state by the end of 2010 to further increase its dealership network.

Most of the Toyota cars in India are segment leader including Toyota Innova, Toyota Fortuner and Toyota Corolla Altis. While the Toyota Innova has a market share of 31% in its segment, the Toyota Corolla Altis model has 35% segment-market share. On the other hand the newly launched Toyota Fortuner has a market share of 61% in its segment
