Volkswagen launched a unique offer for its volume carline – the Vento. This offer will be valid for 4 days starting 14th February 2013. Every Volkswagen enthusiast including hatchback owners can now own the Vento immediately by paying 50% of the price and the remaining after 12 months.
Recently, the Vento got some upgrades and it now comes equipped with the advanced 2 DIN RCD 320 music system with Bluetooth, USB, Aux in and SD card reader besides other features. The Vento is the entry-level sedan into the VW brand and is sold with a 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol is also available with an optional six-speed automatic transmission. The Vento also gets a new set of alloys and smoked-effect headlamps.
Our sources confirm that the German manufacturer has been working on a 1.2-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TDI engines, which will see the daylight in a few months, and we could expect them to be introduced on the Polo and even the Vento. Ideally, these engine could even trickle down on the Skoda siblings to increase the volume and reduce the cost. To read our VW Vento review and see the video, click here.
