Volkswagen opens dealership in Mumbai West

Volkswagen India today inaugurated its 5th authorized dealership in Mumbai(West). The new dealership of Volkswagen in Mumbai West will cater to all passenger car models currently available in the country. This dealership facility has got space to showcase 4 cars and 22 bay state of art workshop which includes accidental repairs and body paint workshop.

On this occasion Mr. Neeraj Garg,Member of Board, Director of Volkswagen Passenger cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd stated that the company is proud to expand Volkswagen network. He added that, to ensure their strong position and presence in the domestic market, the company will make sure that they invest the resources efficiently , supply their products and boost their local sales network in the country.

At present, Volkswagen has 61 outlets in across the country and has successfully shown its presence in the domestic market with its reach in all major cities and towns and expects more growth in upcoming couple of years.

The sales statistics has been tremendous this year for Volkswagen, the company has sold 26,000 units from January to November,2010. At present, Volkswagen offer its premium sedans Volkswagen Jetta and Volkswagen which is assembled in Aurangabad(Maharashtra) for the domestic customers. Moreover, its currently dealing with New Volkswagen Beetle, SUV Volkswagen Touareg, Volkswagen Polo and Volkswagen Vento in India.
