One of our avid readers Ms Marisha Krishna has spotted a left-hand drive version of the Volkswagen Polo, however this is Bi-Fuel. This vehicle is for the export markets, and it has come down to test the vehicle’s durability.
The Volkswagen Polo for the Indian market is now available with four engine options, and who knows we could also see an alternative fuel powered Polo sometime in the future too.
This could add another option for the company and we can expect the 1.5-litre 90bhp diesel engine to make its way into the Polo sometime next year— CarDekho was the first to share this story, almost a year ago.
Volkswagen India recently launched the Polo GT TSI, GT TDI and the Cross Polo. Now, the German manufacturer is preparing to introduce the Tiguan in the coming months. This compact SUV will be available with a 2.0-litre diesel engine and it will compete with the Yeti. We can also expect a 1.6-litre diesel engine to power the Tiguan for the entry-level model.
