Volkswagen has created its own identity in the Indian car market with its exquisite cars. Now this German car manufacturer made another move to strengthen its position in the country. Volkswagen India has opened a regional training centre in collaboration with Rayat and Bahra education group at their campus. The main aim of this regional training centre is to assist the dealership employees in obtaining a set of talent and dexterity with the international standards of Volkswagen Group.

As per the MD of sales of Volkswagen Group, Mr. Maik Stephan told that the auto industry is one such industry, which grows continuously. This auto industry has further made it very much important for the good resources to be here. The newly opened regional training centre in Mohali will help the Volkswagen group in improving and enhancing the quality of manpower, which will in turn amplify the consumer satisfaction.In this new regional training centre in Mohali, Volkswagen Group will demeanor the training sessions for their dealers and will further provide them with the required equipments and tools.

Currently, the training sessions for the Volkswagen Group dealership people is accessible at the plant of Volkswagen situated in Chakan in Pune and also at the Skoda India located in Aurangabad. Volkswagen Group is undoubtedly flourishing and booming in the Indian car market. Therefore, to keep up its success rate, Volkswagen Group is planning to open up such training centers in North, South and East too. The German car maker posted a whopping 270% growth in terms of sales during the time frame of January to June this year. The firm managed to sell 55,000 in January to June 2011.

Volkswagen India presently has 170 outlets across India and plans to increase this figure to 200 by the end of 2011. This German car maker also launched the VG-TAP (Volkswagen Group Technical Education Programme) at Rayat and Bahra centre that would grant a diploma certificate course.
