Dacia has been in news along with its sister concern, Renault because of the Duster. Dacia recently rolled out the Duster in UK last week and now they are in news for the Dokker, which was officially launched at the Casablanca Auto Show 2012. The recent speculations are that Dacia Dokker might come in India under the Renault banner in the MPV segment. Globally, the 2012 Dokker will be available in four different engines.

The dCi 75 engine which will be capable of delivering an approximate power of 74bhp and a torque of 180Nm. The other dCi 90 on the other hand will be capable of churning out a power of 88bhp and torque of 200Nm approximately.

Along with these variants the other in the market will be the 1.6 MPI 85 and 1.2 TCE 115. The former will be capable of delivering 81bhp and latter will deliver 113bhp. The MPV will be either 5seater or 7seater. The 4360mm long, 1750mm wide and 1810mm tall car has a prominent grille, twin-door tailgate, headlights that are sweptback.

On the inside the cabin is basic and has two-tone dashboard. The top of the range will have gunmetal grey trim, chrome accents and a Media Nav infotainment system. From the looks of it, the car looks decent enough. Renault is yet to make any official statement regarding whether the Dokker is coming to India or not. Let’s keep our finger’s crossed and hopes high…
