2012 Mahindra Verito to Launch on 26th July

After a long period of time, Mahindra & Mahindra has finally verified the launch date of the Verito sedan dubbed the Verito Refresh. The media launch for the much awaited car from Mahindra is on the 26th of July in Delhi at ITC Maurya Sheraton, New Delhi. The Chief Executive of Mahindra, Mr. Pravin Shah will oversee the launch at Delhi. The event will be attended by the who’s who of the media fratenity.
The Verito will come with the same two engines that were available for the Renault Mahindra model with 1.4-litre MPFI petrol engine and 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine. The petrol variant is capable of producing near about 75bhp at 5,500rpm and the torque is 110Nm at 3,000rpm. The diesel on the other hand, can churn out 65bhp at 4,000rpm and a torque of 160Nm at 2,000rpm. The Refresh model however will have 5 variants namely; G2/D2, G4/D4 and D6 (G-Gasoline and D-Diesel).
On the outside, Mahindra has given a refreshed look to the Verito with chrome plated front grille, new eyebrow headlights, alloy wheels, new sculpted boot lid, clear lens tail lamps and to top it all the Refresh will come in eight colors. The best part of the Mahindra Verito Refresh is that the box-shaped front structure has been done away and a more roundish appearance has been given to it. The cabin also sees a few changes. The rear seats are very spacious, new grab and door handles, new upholstery, 2-tone instrument panel, new center console which will houses a Variometric AC that helps maintain uniform cooling etc. are a few of the changes featured in the Refresh Verito.
Mahindra & Mahindra was recently in news for grabbing the 3rd position in the Passenger Vehicle Segment.
