Audi kicks off the ‘Audi R-Drive’ in India

Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, has organized a unique drive experience for its customers across various cities in India. The ‘Audi R-Drive’, is a unique initiative which will give participants a chance to experience the award winning Audi R8 V10 Spyder and the Audi RS5. “The start of ‘Audi R-Drive’ reiterates our unwavering commitment to offer to our customers and prospects an experience of our products of highest technical perfection and design finesse. Our super sports cars, the Audi R8 V10 Spyder and the Audi RS5 exemplify our belief in developing and delivering world class automobiles to sports car enthusiasts in India. Audi continued its remarkable performance in India by clocking sales of 667 cars in January 2012, a growth of 39 percent over the same period last year (480 cars: January 2011). The luxury carmaker ended the year 2011 with a sales record of 5511 cars from January to December 2011, a strong 84 percent growth over 2010’s performance (Jan-Dec 2010: 3003).
The Audi model range in India includes Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi A7 Sportback, Audi A8 L, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi RS5 Coupé, the super sports car Audi R8 and the Audi R8 Spyder available across the country: in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Mumbai West, Pune and Surat. Further developments include Coimbatore, Delhi West, Lucknow and Mumbai South.
