The upcoming Beijing Motor Show was supposed to witness the unveiling of new RS Q3 concept from the German luxury car brand, Audi. The concept however, is now out of the bag. To begin with, the outstanding features associated with the RS nametag include the powertrain and the Audi RS Q3 boasts a 2.5-liter TFSI turbocharged five-cylinder engine that is capable of generating 360 horsepower.
Mated with a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and full-time Quattro all-wheel drive, this powertrain reaches zero to 62 kmph in just 5.2 sec. This engine also powers the Audi TT RS. The much anticipated Audi RS Q3 softroader flaunts the design styles typical of RS theme.
The front of the car bears a black honeycomb grille with polished aluminum trims running alongside and a bumper that has been updated with graping air intakes. The ground clearance of the RS Q3 has been reduced by one inch and the aluminum wheels now measure 20-inches. The interiors rendered to the RS Q3 concept exhibit a blacked-out theme.
The seats are gratified with Nappa leather surrounding the dark blue Alcantara inserts. The door inserts are also done in the same dark blue complementing the blue luminescent glass fibers.
