Automobile Industry expects increased sale in the upcoming festive season

It is really a time of celebration for the automobile industry of India. The Indian automobile industry saw an increase in sale of cars in this present fiscal year as the current sale during the period of July-September saw an increase of about thirty percent. The credit of this rise is being given to new products and the financial support which was quite feasible. The Society of Indian Automobiles Manufacturers, considers the potential rise of sale during the festive season of Diwali also which is just around the corner.
At present, it has been estimated that the growth might increase to eighteen or twenty percent from the present thirteen percent. The president of SIAM (Society of Indian Automobiles Manufacturers) stated that the present trend indicates towards the big potential of increased sales of cars. During the month of September, the sale volume of the cars observed a growth of thirty percent along with the sale of 1,69,082 units. Also, during this sale, Hyundai and Maruti displayed the best ever of their monthly sales. The increased sales in cars also gave a point of worry to the auto analysts who are giving a thought upon the road erection and also the traffic dilution.
It is now expected that both the dealers as well as the manufacturers will put all their efforts for pushing volume of units during the upcoming festive occasion of Diwali. SIAM analyses that the sale of passenger car might grow to twenty one percent during the period of 2010-11 from the sale of two point four million units from the present 1.95 million. Also, the sale of two wheelers will touch the mark of eleven million units and the sale if trucks may be about six lakh units with 3 wheelers probably constituting five lakh units.
