Carnation Auto joins hands with Magneti Marelli

Premium cars, priced at Rs 10 lakh and above, will be serviced by Carnation Auto with the help of Fiat Group company Magneti Marelli. Both the companies tied up for the same yesterday. The multi-brand car service provider, Carnation Auto, and Magneti Marelli also collaborated for spare parts aftermarket. Jagdish Khattar, Carnation Auto chairman and managing director, said that the firm has been servicing only entry level cars till now but with new MoU with Magneti, it will begin premium car service. To start with, the partners are to commence a pilot programme in Gurgaon initially. The service might be expanded to cities like Bangalore and Mumbai, depend on customers' responses in Gurgaon. This collaboration is beneficial for both the partners. Mr Khattar said that Carnation Auto and Magneti Marelli will launch spare parts jointly and will brand accordingly. The spare parts are to be sourced from Magneti Marelli whose aftermarket branch has over 30,000 spare parts across 30 product lines, as well as other independent domestic and global producers.
