In a pioneering foray, CNBC-TV18, India’s No.1 Business medium and one of the country’s most viewed ‘Out of Home’ TV channels, has partnered with AvaniTV, a new entity delivering infotainment and entertainment solutions to consumers on the go, to launch ‘Live CNBC-TV18’ in vehicles on Indian roads. In line with CNBC-TV18’s philosophy of delivering world class business news to Indian investors and business audiences across access points, the channel has added a new dimension to its availability footprint, going beyond Indian cable homes. CNBC-TV18 is already available in over 35 million households in the country apart from the strong incremental viewership that the channel receives as a result of its position as the channel of choice in CEO suites, corporate offices, airlines, hotels, brokerages, banks, financial service centers, airports, malls and b-schools.

Interestingly, CNBC-TV18 was also the first Indian news channel to execute ‘Live Streaming’ on YouTube, when it broadcast the Union Budget 2011 in partnership with Google.
