Ferrari 488 GTB gets a high profile launch in London

Ferrari has launched their latest mid-engine V8 supercar, 488 GTB, in an exclusive star-studded event in London. High profile guests included Donna Air, Mary Charteris and Jade Parfitt along with many other VIPs and selected press and Ferrari’s exclusive client list. The guests were seated in a track style grandstand in a red themed soiree at the Old Sorting Office, Holborn. The Ferrari 488 GTB has been developed with the knowledge gained by Ferrari technicians over the last decade of XX programme of the extreme track-only cars.
The Ferrari 488 GTB gets a new 3902 cc V8 turbo engine that produces 670 PS at 8,000 rpm and 760 Nm of maximum torque. The response time to the accelerator is just 0.8 seconds at 2,000 rpm and the Ferrari 488 GTB to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.0 seconds and 0-200 km/h in just 8.3 seconds, on to a top speed of over 330 km/h. The V8 engine gets the top of its class for power output, torque and response times, making it the new benchmark for this kind of architecture.
