Ford is speculated to have started working on generation next Ford Fiesta 2015

While Ford motors has been focusing on finishing the testing phase of fiesta facelift before it goes on to reveal at the Paris Motor Show later in 2012, autointernationaal.nl -a Netherlands based auto portal has recently published a report on Ford's plan of developing the generation next fiesta in Europe. The report says that Ford Motors has assigned this work to Cologne, Germany based group of 500 engineers, which are to work dedicated on to assemble it. The all new Ford fiesta is speculated to hit the market in 2015.

Report reasons the rising competition behind ford's secret plans to now work on the next generation model of fiesta to compete with the likes of Nisaan's sporty hatchback and Honda Jazz, to be launched by 2015. Volkswagen too has recently made their plan clear of launching the generation next Polo manufactured on MQB Platform, whch Will have better space and fuel economy. Focus on technological innovation by competitors have made it compulsory for ford to come up with something that may help them standing in the near future. Although, the existing fiesta which is in the market since 2008 is doing considerably well.

Report has further said, that the coming ford fiesta may enlarge its size and overall design can get more aggressive. 1.5 liter diesel engine which has been fitted with the Indian fiesta too might extend in other markets. The coming Ford Fiesta may come having 5 door variants giving a halt on 3 door variant. We hope to see Ford itself clearing its plan about it later in the year.
