The Creta has brought Hyundai loads of success. Within just a year of its launch, this urban SUV has proven its mettle as a practical city driver with a hint of off-road application. To celebrate the completion of a successful year of the Creta, the manufacturer has prepared an 'Anniversary Edition' of the SUV. Priced at Rs 14.27 lakh for the petrol and Rs. 16.42 lakh for the diesel variant (on-road price, Delhi), this car boasts a dual-tone colour scheme with a black roof, along and other cosmetic upgrades. This variant is only available with the manual transmission option of the SUV.
This 'Anniversary Edition' is built over the standard SX+ variant, with an additional cost of about Rs 45,000. With this extra money, you get a white Creta with a gloss black contrast roof. The car also gets a ‘1 Anniversary Edition’ badge on the C-pillars in the form of dual-colour decal strips. The bold chrome bar which was earlier placed on the tailgate, on top of the licence plate, has made way for a more subtle body-coloured bar.
Inside too, the car features cosmetic upgrades. The beige-black interiors now make way for a refreshed red-and-black theme. The dashboard features red outlines over the AC vents, while everything else remains black. The seats too now feature dual-tone red-black upholstery, lending a sense of sportiness to the cabin.
Overall, this edition of the car stands out as a more sporty avatar of the everyday SUV. And for an extra Rs 45,000, you get to be one of the few who would ever drive this model. If you are in the market looking for a Creta, book your 'Anniversary Edition' now.
