Hyundai Plans a Compact Executive Sedan

After Kia Quoris/K9 saloon, Hyundai Elantra Fluidic, Hyundai Genesis and the likes, Hyundai and Kia brands are being seen with a different perspective altogether by the auto industry. And to take it further ahead, rumor has it that Hyundai is proposing a new rear-wheel drive model, codenamed ‘RK’ to take the BMW 3 Series and the likes, head on.
Though this proposed model is not anywhere close in sight and probably might surface in about two years that is around 2014, with the Fluidic design and models, Hyundai has already started gaining immense respect in the world market.
With the cars that they are bringing in, around the world, like the Hyundai Genesis, Equus etc. the Korean automaker is moving towards the premium segment.
The Compact Executive sedan segment, that the BMW 3 Series belongs to, is one of the toughest segment in present times. And with the speculated ‘RK’ model, which is said to be based on the Gensis coupe platform, Hyundai seems to be in an aggressive mode.
