Nissan NV200 to give a tough fight to Toyota Innova

Nissan is all set and geared up to introduce 5 brand new car models in the Indian Auto Market next year or so. Nissan has already been successful in making a mark in the auto sector of India by launching Nissan Micra. The small car sector will welcome 5 new cars from Nissan around 2012 that will also include in NV200. Nissan NV200 is a joint collaboration with Ashok Leyland and it is expected to give a very tough competition to Toyota Innova.

The major highlight of the new Nissan NV200 is its 1500cc diesel engine that will churn out 106 bhp of maximum power along with 153Nm of maximum torque. With 5 speed gearbox, there is quite ample of leg space that could give Toyota Innova & Tata Safari a run for their money. Nissan NV200 has a seating capacity for 7 passengers, who can sit comfortably with their entire luggage.

Apart from the above mentioned technical specifications, the interiors of Nissan NV200 are pretty well done and give a luxurious feel. This car also comprises of features like EBD, brake assist and ABS technology. The exact Nissan NV200 price has not been revealed yet, but this spacious car should come within the price tag of Rs7 lakh.
