Recent updates by Skoda Auto, a Volkswagen subsidiary reveals that company is all set to showcase its sturdy and smart Fabia Scout to India and it is most likely to get displayed at the Auto Expo in January 2012. If reports are believed, Skoda Fabia Scout is a terrain version of original Fabia hatchback but not perfect 4x4. It is expected that few structural changes are being made in the new Skoda Fabia Scout. For making it a terrain vehicle, the suspension is raised up to a level, also with good ground clearance, the Skoda Fabia Scout can be easily driven with enthusiasm over an unpaved road.

As per looks of the car are concerned, Skoda Fabia Scout appears quite different from standard edition of Skoda Fabia. Skoda India is definitely looking forward to create a difference with this all new terrain vehicle so company has utilized scratch and gravel-resistant cladding at the door undersides, the wheel arches are covered with the same material and there is cladding used around the rear of the car as well. However, while Skoda India has not altered the front nose and bumper of the new Skoda Fabia Scout, Global market is going to experience Skoda Fabia Scout with fully clad bumper and with sunk- in fog lamps. It is also expected to come fitted with Skoda’s existing engines i.e. 105bhp 1.6 petrol and the 1.2 three-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.
