Tata Nano available under special scheme for company's employees

Tata Motors are keen on establishing its mini wonder again in the auto industry, this time it is luring the company's employees for purchasing Tata Nano. When inquired about the same from the Indian auto giants, the officials refused on any such developments.

As per a report published in a popular tabloid, Tata Motors has offered special finance scheme for its employees for purchasing the mini wonder car, Tata Nano who earn a salary of more than Rs 12,500. As per the scheme. An employee can avail a loan of four years with a interest rate of 2 per cent which is 14 per cent levied on other buyers against 100 per cent loan. The special offer is on till New Year which also has a benefit of no processing charge.

As per the report, the company has issued an internal publication which says that, “blood relatives” can also avail the offer under the special scheme if the employees salary account can be debited for it. As per the report, 48 month loan is offered on the standard variant of Tata Nano at the price of Rs 1.69 lakh in Mumbai which will offered for a monthly installment of Rs 3,684. The LX car model with a price tag of Rs 2.28 lakh has a monthly installment of Rs 4,956. If looking at saving of the employee, it is almost Rs 48,000 to Rs 61,000 for more than four years of time.

Tata Motors declined that it is pushing the sales of its Tata Nano up and said that, the Indian auto giant generally offers the company's employees better schemes against the already prevailing in the auto market. The company is also looking for the option of zero down payment but it greatly depends on the employee's profile. As per the spokesperson from the Indian car company, all year round, Tata Motors offers various schemes for its company employees on all its passenger cars and in the same way the company has offered a special scheme on Tata Nano for its employees. The spokesperson refused to share details about the scheme which the auto giant are offering on Tata Nano. The spokesperson added that Tata Nano retail sales under the open sales are picking up well and the company need not to offer any scheme on Tata Nano to its employees for clearing the inventory for the year 2010.
