Toyota Motors Production Mark Reaches 200 Million Vehicle Units

After 76 years and a few months, in fact almost 78 years, Toyota Motor Corporation has crossed the production of 200 million car units in June this year. The first model which was introduced in was the Model G1 truck in 1935. Of the total production, 145.21 million units were built in Japan and remaining 55.12 million have been contributed by rest of the world.
On the occasion of the achieving this milestone, TMC (Toyota Motor Corporation) President, Akio Toyoda congratulated and expressed gratitude to the consumers and the people who have been involved in manufacturing, developing and marketing Toyota and Lexus products.
In India, Toyota recently began their Waku Doki marketing campaign. They recently initiated their vehicle exchange division called Toyota U trust in Faridabad and Chennai. The most popular cars from the eminent house of Toyota are Toyota Corolla Altis, Etios, Etios-Liva and Fortuner to name a few. The production for the best selling Corolla was 39.08 million units as of the end of June this year.
