You Can Book Your Citroen C3 Aircross From September 15 Onwards

The French carmaker will launch its compact SUV by October

• It will be offered in both 5- and 7-seater configurations.

• Gets a 110PS, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine with a 6-speed manual transmission.

• Features a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital driver’s display and manual AC.

• Expected to be priced from Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

The Citroen C3 Aircross was unveiled back in April 2023 as the latest localised offering from the French marque. The prices of the C3 Aircross will be announced in October, and if you are interested in the compact SUV, you can book one from September 15. Design

The C3 Aircross looks like an extended version of the C3 hatchback. It gets similar styling upfront with the sleek LED DRLs housing the headlights in between. It gets a slim bumper with a skid plate, cladding on both doors and a muscular rear end with C-shaped taillights and a massive bumper.

Inside, the cabin is the same as the C3 with some tweaks here and there. This cabin is offered in a black and beige colour scheme but the design of the AC vents and the dashboard layout is the same as the hatchback.

Features & Safety

The C3 Aircross gets a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 7-inch digital driver’s display, manual climate control with roof-mounted rear AC vents, and five fast charging points.

In terms of passenger safety, it gets dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and rear parking sensors.

Powertrain

It comes with only one engine option: a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which makes 110PS and 190Nm. This unit is paired only with a 6-speed manual transmission and this setup claims a fuel efficiency of 18.5kmpl. The C3 Aircross will not offer an automatic transmission at launch, but the option is due to be introduced at a later date.

Price & Rivals

The Citroen C3 Aircross will be launched in October at an expected starting price of Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom). The compact SUV will be a rival to the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, and the Honda Elevate.
