BMW selling cars to launch new soon

Among the list of largest car makers BMW is a renouned and one of the biggest names. It has come to the notice from the company side that they are going to sell nearly 2,908 cars in India till by the end of 2008. Within second year the company wants to close the gap between the selling limits of Mercedes Benz with their own company. It came into light that Mercedes Benz sold nearly 3,625 cars the previous year. In order to increase the capacities the car company wants to launch five new car models in the year 2009. Two of the car variants has already been launched by the company them being the new 7-series sedan and the other being the new 3-series sedan. News regarding the launch of new SUV X6 and X3 diesel versions are also coming in the air. Two more variants of 7-series car are also expected to come and them too very soon. According to president BMW India, comapny is very ambitious at present to take part in the Indian competitive market. And the company officials are moving with the aims to increase the rank in the list of leaders of the market. Moreover there are chances for the launch of some more expected model types till by the end of the year. The luxury car market in India has grown to nearly 23% with the sells of nearly 6,671 vehicles in the April-December market, which all depicted along with it a decrease in the passanger car segment lists. All it is expected that the reasons behind the affected sales is slowdown in financial market of the nation, even the credit conditions are also not satisfactorily OK. These slowdowns decreased the interest of the customers in buying of the vehicles. It is a matter to be noted that the company has shown growth for most of its luxury car vehicles in the first nine months of the financial year that passed the company. In the gone year 2007 BMW India was been anle to sell nearly 2,046 vehicles in comparison the Mercedes Benz sold nearly 2,395 vehicles. Besides this the Audi group of companies are also making their way to challenge the current economic situations and are in way of creating a tough competiton for the Mercedes Benz group. Audi has been ble to sell a higher number of cars this year compared to the previous year.
